Initial PIC Training
Prepare for your PIC type rating in your airplane. Four to seven days of focused instruction, with readiness and proficiency guiding the training.

$11,000 for 4–7 days.
In your airplane, at your location or mine. The checkride is not included.
The goal is to complete your training in the shortest practical time without sacrificing proficiency or training quality. If additional training is needed beyond seven days, the $1,500 daily rate applies.
Training covers your Citation’s systems, performance, normal and abnormal procedures, avionics, workload management, and cockpit leadership. Completion depends on demonstrated proficiency.

Four to seven days of PIC type-rating preparation in your airplane.
Additional
Checkride excluded. Training beyond seven days and personal-trip days: $1,500 per day. Confirm aircraft operating costs, travel and examiner arrangements in your written plan.
Arrive prepared.
You need to be highly proficient in single-pilot IFR under intense workload, your installed avionics, and advanced use of the ForeFlight EFB. Unfamiliar avionics may require additional training. If your ForeFlight skills need work, watch my training videos and request additional instruction.
Personal trips and training.
Personal trips can be combined with training, but those personal-trip days are billed separately at $1,500 per day. Cross-country experience alone cannot adequately complete type-rating training. You also need dedicated training to build and demonstrate proficiency.

Training is tailored to your Citation, avionics, experience, and goals. I’m based near Nashville and can train at your location or mine. If you do not have an airplane, I can help explore options through my clients and connections.
