SUPERVISED OPERATING EXPERIENCE

$1,500 per day.

Have a supervised-experience limitation?

Start with the exact wording on your certificate, your training and checkride records, relevant logbook experience and the aircraft you intend to fly. We review those before agreeing on qualifying flights.

  1. Review the limitation and requirements.
  2. Plan and complete qualifying supervised flights.
  3. Document the experience for the applicable limitation-removal process.

The daily fee is separate from the flight-hour requirement. A training day is not a promise of a particular number of qualifying hours.

If your certificate requires 25 hours of supervised operating experience, I can provide SOE support where the applicable requirements are met. We review the exact limitation on your certificate before arranging the flying, then document qualifying flights toward its removal.

For §61.64 SOE, qualifying experience and documentation are presented to an examiner or Flight Standards office for limitation removal. SOE is not interchangeable with removing an “SIC Privileges Only” restriction; that requires a separate PIC qualification path.

Real-world cross-country flying in your jet combines qualifying experience with IFR proficiency, weather decisions, and cockpit leadership. The aim is to develop meaningful capability as the captain, beyond accumulating hours.

SOE work follows the Pilot Services daily rate, $100 meals per diem, and travel expenses.
